Functional since 1963, the birth centenary year of Swami Vivekananda, this Trust initially got registered with the name ‘Shri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Centre’ and was formally-inaugurated by Rev. Swami Ranganathanandaji Maharaj. The word ‘Trust’ was added later in August 1996 to form ‘Shri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Centre Trust’ and then the donations received by the Trust were exempted under the Income Tax act 80(G). Since then, the first President of the Trust, late Shri Dushyantbhai Pandya has offered his priceless services till his last breath on 7.10.2011. Then came, Dr. J.R. Then, Shri Mulubhai Kandoriya, the famous builder of Jamnagar, came in touch with the Trust and by the blessings of Sri Ramakrishna Deva; he donated 30,000 sq. ft. common plot of a society to the Trust. On this plot, the foundation stone for ‘Akhandananda Bhavan’ was laid on 11.3.2008 by Swami Dhruveshanandaji Maharaj, then President of Shri Ramakrishna Ashram, Rajkot; and after successful completion, it was inaugurated on 3.01.2009 by Swami Brahmeshanandaji Maharaj, the then Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Chandigarh. Later, beside this Bhavan, a Library, an office room, and a small room for clinic were inaugurated on 12.01.2010 by Rev. Swami Vishwatmanandaji Maharaj, then from Belur-math. Next on 24.10.2012, ‘Vivekananda Bhavan’ for Satsanga was inaugurated by Rev. Swami Adibhavanandaji Maharaj, the then Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Limbdi; and ‘Bhagini Nivedita Mahila Sivan Varg’ was inaugurated, by Rev.
