The debt which the world owes to our Motherland is immense. Taking country with country, there is not one race on this earth to which the world owes so much as to the patient Hindu, the mild Hindu. “The mild Hindu” sometimes is used as an expression of reproach; but if ever a reproach concealed a wonderful truth, it is in the term, “the mild Hindu”, who has always been the blessed child of God. આપણી માતૃભૂમિ પ્રત્યે વિશ્વનું ઋણ ઘણું જ મોટું છે. દેશદેશ સાથે સરખામણી કરી જોશો તો જણાશે કે દુનિયા જેટલી આ સહનશીલ હિંદુની, નરમ હિંદુની ઋણી છે તેટલી આ પૃથ્વી પરની બીજી કોઈપણ પ્રજાની નથી. ‘નરમ હિંદુ’ એ શબ્દ ક્યારેક મહેણા તરીકે 6 વપરાય છે ખરો, પરંતુ જો કદીયે એ મ્હેણાની અંદર અદ્ભુત સત્ય છુપાયેલું હોય તો તે પરમાત્માના ધન્ય શબ્દપ્રયોગમાં રહેલું છે.
