My dear Swami Nikhileswarananda,
It is Swami Vivekananda’s vision of a new India more glorious than ever before, seated on her majestic throne as the queen of all nations, which is being unfolded these days. Swami Vivekananda travelled all over India and went to the West to preach before the elite of those lands the religion of Vedanta and establish the sublimity in Vedantic thought. He visualised in his mind a programme of exchange between the East and the West which will raise the whole world to an ideal state both in terms of spiritual realisations and scientific accomplishments. That is happening today.
It was Swami’s intention to involve the youth of the land in this process of regeneration and rebuilding of our country. The achievements of India and the rest of the world, in several fields of human existence go to prove beyond doubt that this total awakening of humanity is not far too away.
The Ramakrishna-Vivekananda literature in general and the writings in the Souvenir that is being brought out by the Rajkot centre will inspire the youth and urge them to live upto Swamiji’s expectations.
May the Holy Trio bless the publication of the Souvenir with all success is my prayer to them. May the Holy Trio inspire the youth of our country and of other parts of the world, to build their character, overcome selfishness, and plunge into the task of ennobling human existence.
